‘Avengers: Endgame’ secrets that ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ cast already knew about

The entire cinematic Marvel Universe has consumed all of us that it no longer seems an imagined Universe. True enough, Avengers: Endgame kept us all on the verge of our seats. It was such a blockbuster, and the producers knew beforehand, so much that security was extremely tight that only Robert Downey, Jr. was given the full script, so that most of the plot’s secrets will remain a secret even to its own cast (except Downey, Jr., of course).

This resulted to a very enjoyable movie installment even for the cast, as they had no idea how the movie will turnout and how the plot will unfold. However, while secrets were kept from them, it seems that for the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home, it was a different experience as they had already known the secrets all along.

Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson) revealed:

We were all sat down in a room, at least I was, and Eric Carroll came in and told most of the cast what happens in Endgame, so I had known things that happened in Endgame before some of the Endgame actors themselves. We shot that a year before it [Endgame] came out so we had to figure all that out and they had to tell us all about it, which was great but also a little bit sad that I didn’t get to experience that in the theater like everyone else.

It seems pretty ironic, isn’t it–how cast of Avengers: Endgame thought that Tony’s funeral was shot as a wedding scene while Flash Thompson knew all about Iron Man’s death. It’s just a little funny and fascinating how the industry operates, but at least it works for them. After all, that’s show business.
