Tabi Po The Series is going to the Asian TV Awards!

Asian Television Awards is to commence its 23rd awards night in Singapore. With a panel of over 60 judges in all over Asia, scores are tabulated and audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers, with the winners only announced during the Awards Ceremony.

To grace this prestigious competition is the Filipino TV series “Tabi Po The Series.” Based on the award-winning graphic novel of Mervin Malonzo, “Tabi Po” was made into a series by Cignal TV Inc. Directed by Paul Alexei Basinillo, the series aired on Sari-Sari Channel TV in October 2017.

Joining the roster of nominees is Adrian Alandy for Best Supporting Actor. Alandy, who has been in the industry for quite some time plays the role of Tasyo, an elder aswang who guided Elias to get accustomed to the aswang life. Also joining the list of nominees is Mary Omillo for “Mi Amor” for Best Theme Song.

Tabi Po is a graphic novel about Aswang—a mythical flesh-eating, shape-shifting creature during the Spanish regime in the Philippines.
