Started at EPIK Studios in 2017 as a Multimedia Artist, feautred aritst Danyel Maxin Santos recently promoted as Art Director who oversees the production of our graphic novels and animated content and presentations. Last year at Komikon Grande she released her first comic zine called Growing Pains–a truly relatable story about the pains of a working girl who lives in a dorm.

Graduated AB Communication Major in Multimedia Arts at Malayan Colleges Laguna, EPIK’s Art Director Danyel Maxin Santos studied 3D Animation under a scholarship from the Philippine-Korea Friendship Center in 2015. This led her to become a corporate designer for a while. She then chose to work as a freelance animation clean-up artist for the 2016 animated film Nerdland.

Eventually, Dany’s amazing talent and hard-work landed her an employment at a post-production studio called Acid House with projects ranging from ABS-CBN’s Matanglawin, MYX, Toto, and Kushikatsu Daruma among others.

On good days when she’s not crippled by anxiety and creative insecurity, she writes stories and make projects on the side. On bad days, she spends the entire day binge-watching The Amazing World of Gumball while sulking. And on normal days, she eats her giniling na may patatas with a piece of lakatan.
