In this artwork by EPIK Studios’ artist Jim Jimenez, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is the centerpiece in her iconic wardrobe color of red that pops out against the painted background of the outer space. At the coronation night, she wore a dazzling red gown that pays homage to her hometown Bicol, the home of the “Perfect Cone” Mayon Volcano. She was crowned Miss Universe 2018 on December 17, giving the country its fourth Miss Universe crown and the closest gap between two victories (2015 and 2018). Miss South Africa was 1st-runner up, almost giving their country a back-to-back win; while Miss Venezuela was 2nd-runner up.

Also in this artwork are the translucent representations of the other 3 Miss Universes that gave pride and joy to the Philippines. From left: Gloria Diaz (1969); Bottom: Margie Moran (1973); Right: Pia Wurtzbach (2015).

Congratulations, Catriona, for the EPIK win!
