To celebrate its 38th year, Viva Communications Inc held its first-ever entertainment convention last Saturday, August 3, at the World Trade Center. Dubbed as VIVA CON 2019, the entire Viva Group of Companies participated to showcase their companies in the public. Both artists and singers of Viva also went to perform, making it a star-studded event. The 2-day event was filled with stage performances, talks, workshops, fan meets, and even open auditions, featuring top celebs like Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis-Smith, Nadine Lustre, Matteo Guidicelli, Donna Bartolome, Alex Gonzaga, Arjo Atayde, Bela Padilla, and more.

Tickets were sold P550 per person. It’s an all-access pass to the day’s simultaneous activities including the following:

  • Musical performances.¬†Viva artists graced the stage from 10 am to 10pm, such as Yassi Pressman, Unique, Callaily, Kean Cipriano, Mark Bautista, Viva Hot Babes, The Juans, Because, The Ppop Girls, SexbombNewGen, and more.
  • Exhibitors.¬†Aside from books, food, and drinks, pre-loved items of stars such as Anne Curtis-Smith and Xian Lim were on sale for the public to buy.
  • Social media seminars.¬†At the second floor of the World Trade Center, separate rooms held content creation through social media influencers Janine Tenoso, Ella Cruz, Daryll Yap, Meunnie Culantes on Saturday and Donnalyn Bartolome, Marcelo Santos III, and John Roa on Sunday, August 4.
  • Film-making workshops.¬†Other rooms held acclaimed directors Treb Monteras (Respeto) Sigrid Bernardo (Kita-Kita), Paul Basinillo (Indak) on Saturday, and Jason Paul Laxamana (100 Tula Kay Stella), Irene Villamor (Ulan), Nuel Naval (This Time)¬†on Sunday, August 4.
  • Promo visits.¬†The stars of dance movie¬†Indak,¬†including Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion, as well as¬†Sang-gano, Sang-guwapo, Sang-gago¬†stars Andrew E, Dennis Padilla, and Janno Gibbs, and¬†Unforgettable’s¬†Sarah G.¬†Not Just A Stranger’s¬†Anne Curtis and Marco Gumabao were also there
  • Fan meets.¬†Fans lined up at the second floor and got the chance to meet their idols at certain time slots for photo ops and book signings.
  • Open auditions.¬†People of all ages, including children, attended acting or singing auditions during the event.

Of course, EPIK Studios grazed the event! It had been an exhausting week but it was all worth it. We think we did good especially with the booth designs as seen below:
